About CTWorks

The CTWorks Centers of Southwestern Connecticut provide services to unemployed and underemployed individuals seeking jobs and job search assistance at no cost.  Jobseekers are afforded convenient access to the employment, education, training and information services they need at a single location.

EVERYONE and ANYONE is welcome and encouraged to visit CTWorks Centers and use the reference materials such as newspapers, journals and job posting board.  Posted positions include all levels and salary ranges from entry-level to upper-level management.

CTWorks Centers along with The WorkPlace, Inc. and CT DOL have worked closely with local employers on innovative programs that increase worker productivity and training.  There are many workforce development programs available that are no-cost and low-cost to the employer.  Email: Request more information 

 

CTWorks Partners:

CTWorks Centers of Southwestern Connecticut are recognized as some of the “best run” centers in the country (One Stop Best Practices by the Heldrich Institute, Rutgers University).

CTWorks is a unique collaboration of state, regional and local organizations addressing the workforce development needs of the state - both our residents who are seeking jobs and businesses that want to employ them. There are CTWorks offices located throughout Connecticut. Services for job seekers include career counseling, skills training and job search assistance, while businesses can receive recruiting and job training assistance, along with labor market information.

The three primary partners in CTWorks are Connecticut Department of Labor; The WorkPlace, Inc., Southwestern Connecticut’s Regional Workforce Development Board; and, Career Resources, Inc., the operator of the Centers.
